Course Description: The objective of this course is to teach participants about preventing musculoskeletal injury in manual materials handling through safe handling and lifting techniques. The question to be asked you need to lift at all? Other objectives include the roles and responsibilities of the employer and employee and in identifying and understanding the risk associated with musculoskeletal injury. Participants will also be informed on how to prepare for manual materials handling.

Course Duration: 1 Day (in person)

  • Basics of musculoskeletal injury (sign,symptoms, risk factors)
  • Manual materials handling— do you have to lift at all?
