Course Description: The respiratory protection course is designed to instruct participants’ on the proper selection, use, and care of respirators based on relevant provincial regulations and CSA Standard Z94.4. After completing the course, individuals will be fit tested for a respirator using qualitative procedures.  Participants are required to be fit tested within two years in order to meet provincial regulations and the CSA Standard.

Course Duration: 2 Hours (in person)

Prerequisite: Note: A Health Surveillance Questionnaire has to be completed by participants in advance of the fit testing. Individuals must be clean shaven in order to be fit tested. Please contact Atlantic Safety Centre for a copy of the questionnaire.
